Mizuoto Sui: Operation Manual

-Ghost for SSP-

This document explains the various functions of the Mizuoto Sui ghost. This does not cover all the basic functions of SSP across all ghosts.

Upon first startup, Sui will prompt you to confirm your name in SSP's preferences so she can use it.

Double left clicking on Sui will open a menu, from which you may choose a function:

• Talk to Sui (communicate by user input)
• Talk to another Ghost (communication with other ghosts)
• Talk interval (period of time between random monologue)
• Check email (BIFF event using email account registered at the SSP POP menu)
• Check clock (SNTP event using the internet to align the system clock; you may be greeted with a prompt to allow SSP to make changes to the system)
• Check my calendar (opens the SSP calendar)
• Give something to Sui (Nyaa and Tomodachi Point systems related)
• Part-time job (Nyaa currency)
• To-do list (opens a simplified, editable to-do list)

The Extras menu also includes:

• Play Blackjack (runs a simplified game of Blackjack)
• Open cursor folder (opens a folder containing mouse cursors)

User

From the double click menu, select "Talk to Sui".

Here, you can input a number of phrases that Sui may or may not respond to.

Some keywords may increase Tomodachi Points.

Ghost

If there is another ghost present via "Call Ghost": From the double click menu, select "Talk to another Ghost".

Select whether the other ghost recognizes English or Japanese.

Selecting "Part-time job" in the menu will start a 60 minute timer, after which you will receive 2000 Nyaa, a currency only used with Sui and used to buy her gifts to increase Tomodachi Points.

Certain actions and keywords, as well as leaving Sui running, will increase Tomodachi Points, a measure of closeness with Sui.

Actions include:

• Giving Sui an item she likes
• Winning a game of Blackjack
• Petting Sui's head with the mouse cursor

Make sure to note what Sui states she likes occasionally so you don't give her the wrong things and lose Tomodachi Points!

Eventually, having enough Tomodachi Points will enable additional random speech.

As Sui explains, simply left click on an item in the list to type in a custom item.

Clicking on that item again will allow you to rename it, or leave the input box blank to reset it.

It's painfully basic, and in the future I may construct an improved version of this, with strikeout text and whatnot.
